All-America Selections’ (AAS) 2021 Landscape Design Challenge has awarded two Quebec gardens with top three finishes in their respective categories.

The Butchart Gardens is probably Canada’s most well-known horticultural attraction. However, about 20 km to the south on the west shore of Greater Victoria are the gardens at Hatley Park — a national historic site that today encompasses Royal Roads University.

The theme of the very first Canada Blooms festival was “Secret Gardens." We find that our favourite gardens are the ones where you discover something wonderful hiding just around a corner.
