GATEWAY TO THE TRADES- HIEC SURVEY!
Our partner organizations, ApprenticeSearch.com and Skills Canada Ontario are surveying young people, parents and skilled trades employers to learn more about how they can best support the next generation of skilled workers. These surveys will be used to inform the types of resources and supports they create for all three stakeholder groups.

What is the Gateway to the Trades?
Gateways to the Trades is a joint program between ApprenticeSearch.com and Skills Canada Ontario that is aimed at providing young people who are pursuing the skilled trades pathway with timely and relevant resources, connections to mentors and employers, and the confidence and ability to advocate for themselves as they navigate the apprenticeship process.

Why is this program so needed?
For many young people, graduation from secondary school or pre-apprenticeship programs signals a time when they lack the network, connections and ongoing support they need to be successful in their pursuit of apprenticeship. There are so many resources and people out there who want to help! But that much-need information and those helpful people can be hard to find. This program brings together people who are passionate about the skilled trades to offer a single program that will provide young people with the support they need.

Please Complete the Survey Below
● Everyone who completes a survey and includes their email address will be entered to win one of three $100 Amazon Gift Cards!
● One gift card for youth, one for parents and one for employers
● These surveys will be used to inform the types of resources and supports we create.
