Intermediate Flagstone
Looking to go further with your flagstone skills? This hands-on, two-day seminar will cover the installation of various types of flagstone from start to finish. Participants will use concrete block to create the form of a three- step staircase and then clad it in flagstone. Participants will install dry and wet lay installations of both random and square- cut flagstone. Masonry techniques such as pointing and sponging of grout will be taught.
Concrete: The Next Level
For those who know the basics of mixing, placing and finishing concrete, this seminar will further your skills in forming, reinforcing and pouring steps, with sometime spent on raised and suspended slabs. Participants will have time to practice finishing larger slabs on grade.
