| Have you or your staff taken advantage of earning while learning? The Landscape Horticulturist Apprenticeship Program is recognized across Canada as a Red Seal Trade. Did you know your staff can get paid while completing the Apprenticeship Program? Find out more and how to register your staff to become Red Seal Certified and how to Earn While You Learn at HorticultureTechnician.ca and Register now. Ottawa employers: Take our 5-minute survey We are calling on all Ottawa employers to take 5 minutes to complete a survey to support the future delivery of the Horticulture Technician 441-C Apprenticeship Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. In 2021, the Level 1 in-class training did not run due to low registrations. Without 15-18 registrations we run the risk of the in-class portion of the Apprenticeship Program at Algonquin College not running again in January 2022. This would be a blow to the profession and the program. We thank you in advance for completing the survey and look forward to your feedback. Should you have any questions, please contact Sally Harvey. **Note: If you operate within the snow and ice sector, please let Landscape Ontario staff know as accommodations can be made with Algonquin College that supports successful completion. Learn more about the program by completing the survey: |
