| Salt will be scarce and expensive this winter A recent strike at a salt mine, combined with contractual obligations to municipalities has left salt distributors scrambling to find supply from all over the world. This is a serious issue. The bottom line is that salt will be scarce for the winter of 2018/2019, and prices will be higher.
