World Tulip Summit Ottawa 2017
2017 is a special year for Canada and the Canadian Tulip Festival. The Ottawa World Tulip Summit marks the 15th anniversary of the first Summit held in Ottawa in 2002 and celebrates the 65th Anniversary of the Festival.
The Ottawa World Tulip Summit offers a three day program from October 5-7, 2017.
Speakers from around the world will present how the tulip is celebrated in their community as well as its impact. The program will also include a number of special events, including the Tulip Soiree.
Canadians are also celebrating Canada's 150th Anniversary of Canada's confederation in 2017.
With all these anniversaries in mind the theme of the 7th World Tulip Summit is " Celebrating Tulip Traditions and Initiatives."
