Western growers to tour Quebec
Members of the Western Nursery Growers Group (WNGG) will tour Montreal and Quebec City with their WNGG Montreal-Quebec City Summer Tour, August 9 to 11.
The tour agenda includes visits to the rose breeding program at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada research station L’Acadie, the office and grounds of the Institut Québécois du Développement de l’Horticuture Ornementale (IQDHO), and local Montreal and Quebec City area nurseries and landmarks. Participants will also have the option to spend a day touring Old Quebec City or visit the Centre de Production de Plants Forestiers due Quebec (CPPFQ) and view its container-grown conifers, from budding to finished size.
Registration is $175.
