Vermeer’s named retailer of year
Congratulations to Vermeer’s Garden Centre and Flower Shop in Welland, for being named the best retailer of its kind in Canada.
The South Pelham Road greenhouse was given the title of Overall 2007 Retailer of the Year by the Canadian Gift and Tableware Association, an organization with a national membership of more than 1,600.
Finding a winner for the award included a visit by a secret shopper. Vermeer’s owner Karin Vermeer said the award left the garden centre staff “shocked, but also elated.”
