Valleybrook to build web sites for garden centre dealers
Valleybrook International Ventures will reach out to its Heritage Perennials dealers in North America through web site development services.
The e-Retailer 2001 Program from Valleybrook will help its over 700 dealers establish their brands and position themselves as the experts in their local market through customized newsletters, daily and weekly gardening tips, how-to’s, feature stores, live feeds, expert advice, free downloads and more – all making individual dealer sites an invaluable resource and frequent destination for gardening enthusiasts. With the Internet going mainstream and more and more gardening enthusiasts turning to the Internet for information, web sites are the way to go for many retailers, says Valleybrook president John Schroeder. However, he realizes that developing and maintaining an effective web presence can be difficult and expensive.
“We’re investing big dollars to help them (dealers) tap into the marketing power of the Internet, without the financial risk,” says Schroeder of the e-Retailer program that will allow all Valleybrook dealers to customize their own sites with no programming experience. Each dealer will be able to include information about their garden centre such as local events, news coverage, manager specials and feature plants, etc. The most valuable, explains Schroeder, is the searchable database of over 2000 perennials, ferns, groundcovers, grasses and more.
Garden centres that want to learn more about the e-Retailer 2001 Program are invited to call Valleybrook International Ventures at 1-888-258-3768 for a complete information package.
