The purpose of this presentation is to create conversation regarding accessible spaces and to encourage those working in the landscaping industry to consider accessibility during the design and build phases of their work. This format will be an informal presentation with ample time for conversation and discussion. Key points will include what is accessibility, and the importance of accessibility, and highlight important aspects of outdoor accessibility to be considered in the build process.

Bayley Quinn, MScPT Bio

Bayley Quinn attended University of Ottawa, completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and graduating in 2018. She continued her studies at Queen’s University graduating with a Masters in Physical Therapy in July of 2020.

Since graduation, Quinn has had the opportunity of working at the Children's Treatment Center in Belleville, working with children with disability and their families. This opportunity has allowed her not only to support rehab goals, but to also support families design and plan renovations to make their home space more accessible for their needs. In her down time, Quinn can be found on the job site of Mark of Excellence Landscaping.
