United in purpose and passion
One of the most significant opportunities for connection is coming up at LO’s Congress Trade Show and Conference (Jan. 6-8, 2026). Over the past two years, many of you have expanded your circles by attending various LO events such as a local chapter meeting, golf tournament, Green Trade Expo or Gear Up for Spring. Our peer-to-peer network and countless educational and social events have created spaces to learn, share and build relationships that fuel growth and innovation.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the privilege of serving as your association president. Working alongside such a talented and dedicated team has been a true honour. Contributing, even in a small way, to this incredible profession has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to support this industry and to be part of a community that is shaping the future of our field.
A key question for all business owners is this: “Why should we, in turn, educate and engage our teams about what it means to be part of LO?” The answer is simple — because an informed, engaged team amplifies your business’s strength and helps you innovate, grow and succeed together. When your team understands the value of industry connections and continuous learning, everyone benefits.
Looking ahead to 2026, I encourage you to dream big. What would you like to see happen for our industry, LO and your business next year? Greater collaboration? More innovation? Stronger community engagement? Whatever your vision, let’s work together to make it happen.
Here’s to a vibrant 2026 — a year of growth, unity and continued strength, both as individuals and as a community.
