Tours focus on Canada’s horticultural gems

Gardening, botany and horticulture are the themes for some of the choice tour offerings from the Bloom and Garden Tours of Canada, a new initiative between the Canadian Tourism Commission, Tours Chanteclerc and Communities in Bloom.

Available in four packages, participants can choose to visit the beautiful yet hidden gardens of Montreal, Laval, the Laurentians and Ottawa, discover the beauty of Quebec and New Brunswick or the visual appeal of public and private gardens in Southern Ontario. A 14-day tour of Western Canada is also on the table, with visits to Edmonton and Calgary, as well as viewing the vast mountainous ranges from Banff, Golden (Communities in Bloom finalist), Revelstoke, Kelowna and Whistler.

Choose from five-, nine-, 10 and 14-day tours, which will include visits to public and private gardens, Communities in Bloom beautification contest finalists and winners, areas of specific interest such as greenhouses, naturalized areas and research centres, historical sites and human and cultural experiences highlighting the Canadian quality and way of life. All tours and prices are based on a group of 40 people and include deluxe coach transportation, quality hotel accommodation, knowledgeable guide, visits, meals and services listed in itineraries, luggage handling and taxes where applicable.
