Marc Green

Marc Green is co-owner of The Backyard Urban Farm Company Inc., and is VP of Installations and Operations. In his previous career, Marc worked in the motion picture industry, predominantly in television commercial production, as a location scout and manager. During his almost 24-year tenure in this position, he took hundreds of thousands of photographs of thousands of locations, many of which were then chosen as filming locations. Working with a wide variety of creative colleagues, from directors to cinematographers, designers, and others, Marc was able to hone his photographic skills to clearly and concisely communicate in each frame as much information as possible. Marc is an avid outdoors enthusiast, loves fishing, canoeing and wilderness camping. He also has a deep connection with music, spending much of his spare time playing guitar and piano. “Nature is medicine for the spirit. Music is medicine for the soul.”

Jeff McNeill

Jeff picked up his first camera when he was 13 years old; spending a lot of money on film and darkroom gear. He photographed his way through high school, portraits, cars and endless “photo-safari’s” with his best friend. Jeff moved to Colorado after school and became a ski photographer for a few years then moved to San Francisco to find a “real job”. He started working for established advertising photographers doing everything from studio work to celebrity portraits before falling in love with location photography. He worked for a Dutch photographer for 8 years who instilled the importance of light... almost to a fault. Jeff moved to Toronto in 2008 while still working in the U.S. and Europe. A chance conversation with a friend of a friend who was a landscaper led to his first “shoot” in Canada. He photographed a few properties and thought that was the end of it…but it never ended and 14 years later he specializes in landscape photography for LA’s, design build’s and pool companies…who could of guessed. Jeff would not have it any other way.
