Are you looking for staff for the upcoming season?

 
The target group is youth 18 to 29 who are out of work/school, able to commence work immediately and looking for employment in the landscaping field.  In addition, the event has been expanded to include adults and students supported by the same employment service sector group including Toronto Employment & Social Services and over 20 Toronto Not-for-Profit Employment Agencies.  We expect over 200 participants to attend this event. This job fair is specifically geared to participants that have indicated an interest to work in the landscaping sector.  Many already have landscape work experience, from entry level to more experienced and specialized. Feedback from employers at previous events has been positive.  Youth supported through the City of Toronto and community partners networks, who have prepared for opportunities in the landscaping sector will attend from 1:00-2:00 p.m. The event will then open up to all job seekers from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  Booth space is limited and will therefore be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Accommodations:

• Employers will receive a 6 ft. x 2.5 ft. table that can accommodate two representatives plus a display of company materials. 
• There is no cost for participation as the goal of the City of Toronto is to connect residents seeking landscaping jobs with employers in the landscaping sector
• Refreshments and light lunch provided during set-up
• Employers are welcome to bring displays
