Nursery growers, retailers and landscapers can escape the ice and snow in 2001 with Valleybrook Gardens as they tour the horticulture industry in South America.

     Led by John and Kelly Schroeder of Valleybrook Gardens, the tour will visit Chile and Argentina where participants will visit botanical and private gardens, nurseries and greenhouse operations. Local bilingual experts will guide the group, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet and speak with the owners of these businesses. The 11-day tour will begin on January 23, 2001.

     Delegates will also get a chance to spend some free time exploring the beautiful beaches, scenery, food and wines of Chile, as well as three days in Buenos Aires to view the city and learn something about the country's ornamental industry.
