Shindaiwa names energized marketing team

Shindaiwa, Inc. announces a new marketing campaign, with the first step to introduce a newly energized marketing team to coordinate the program.

     The “First to Start, Last to Quit” campaign will be headed by Mike Nichols as Shindaiwa’s director of Marketing. A graduate from California State University with a BS in Marketing and an MBA, Nichols gathered over 20 years of sales and marketing experience with outdoor power equipment brands before coming to Shindaiwa.

     Joining Nichols is two-year Shindaiwa alumni Stacy Smith, who takes on the role of Sales Support Manager, and is responsible for the delivery of marketing materials and programs to assist Shindaiwa distributors and dealers.

     Jay Larsen, 11-year Shindaiwa veteran and former Technical Services Representative will step into the role of Product Marketing and Communications Manager. He will be responsible for public and media relations, the Insider distribution and PowerLine dealer newsletters, trade shows and market research.

     In-house graphics specialist Bernard Chalumeau will lend his attention to detail and fine artistic abilities in his work as Publishing Coordinator. Chalumeau graduated from the National School of Art in Montpellier, France with a Bachelors Degree, and earned his Masters Degree from the National Superior Fine Arts School in Paris.

     Laura Sorrentino-Howard and Skye Watts come on board as Marketing Assistants and will work on a wide range of marketing projects. Recent university business graduates, Sorrentino-Howard and Watts lend their enthusiasm and talents in helping to promote Shindaiwa products.

     “We continually monitor and evaluate the professional user and high-end consumer marketplace, seeking new business and product opportunities. We’ve assembled an intellectual, creative, and dynamic marketing staff that has jacked up our energy,” says Nichols. “We plan to channel that energy into more creative and timely products, programs, and marketing services. Our goal is to be proactive and responsive to our customers needs and show the world that Shindaiwa is “First To Start. Last To Quit.”
