Mark Bradley
Redefining leadership in landscaping
Some people get into landscaping because they need a job. Mark Bradley built a career, then an empire, then a movement.
It started at 18 years old, fresh out of high school, working as an apprentice in the nuclear industry. No business degree. No formal training, just an obsession with getting better, faster, smarter and more efficient.
By his mid-20s, Mark wasn’t just working in landscaping, he was running the crews. By age 30, he was building one of the largest, most profitable landscape companies in North America. What started as an owner-operator business scaled to a top 100 landscape company, pushing $50M+ in revenue — not through sheer hustle, but by building systems that made success repeatable, allowing other people to grow and scale the business with him.
Then came the next challenge. Mark wasn’t just frustrated by inefficiencies in his own business — he saw an entire industry struggling with the same problems. So, in 2009, he built LMN, the first landscape business management software designed by a contractor, for contractors. Over the next decade, thousands of businesses used LMN to master job costing, improve efficiency, and scale profitably.
But Mark doesn’t believe in maintaining what’s built. He believes in evolution.
Today, as the founder of LeanScaper, Mark is focused on the future of landscaping — beyond just numbers, beyond just growth. He’s helping owners go from operators to CEOs, from chaos to control, from revenue to real success, creating an industry that provides apprenticeships and fair wages for everyone involved.
35 years in the industry: Apprentice, operator, CEO, software founder, industry disruptor.
Mark Bradley doesn’t just talk about running a better business. He built one, rebuilt another, and is now transforming thousands.
