Parks, grounds managers meet in New Brunswick

Parks superintendents and staff, grounds managers and others involved in the turfgrass industry will meet in New Brunswick for the fourth edition of the National Symposium on Parks and Grounds, September 20 to 21.

     Held in Saint John, NB, at the Saint John Trade & Convention Centre, the symposium will team a top-rated conference program with their innovative trade show, highlighting new and innovative products for the parks sector, as well as projects from municipalities.

     Speakers from Canada, the United States, Europe and abroad will talk about such topics as naturalization and turfgrass sciences, turfgrass management, new plant material, as well as tourism, gardens of the world, playground equipment and their maintenance, safety, risk and liability, and several other topics of interest to parks and grounds managers. The symposium will also include workshops on community partners, tourism, park maintenance, heritage preservation and urban forestry.
