Ottawa Chapter Meeting - December 15, 2021

WE’RE BACK!

Hello Ottawa Chapter members of Landscape Ontario,

It has been a while, and we are so excited to announce we are back to holding in-person events for our members. Join us at our next chapter meeting:

December 15, 2021 - 12:00 p.m.
Centurion Centre*
170 Colonnade Rd S
Nepean, ON  K2E 7J5
Come join us to re-connect with peers, enjoy a hot lunch, and compete for prizes by donning your ugly sweater. While we have some short business to attend to, the goal of the meeting is to socialize and reconnect with each other after such a long absence.

We encourage everyone to bring non-perishable food items or donations to the meeting for the Sharing & Caring Exchange (details below).

If you have any trouble registering, please email Ottawachapterlandscapeontario@gmail.com and we will make sure you get signed up.

*Please note, as per provincial regulations, proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required to enter the venue.

Ottawa Chapter's Campaign for the Caring & Sharing Exchange

For the past two years, Landscape Ontario Ottawa Chapter given back to the community by participating in the Caring & Sharing Exchange’s Sponsor a Hamper program, a Christmas Exchange initiative. See caringandsharing.ca

In 2019, we put together and delivered 10 Christmas food hampers for local families in need. Last year, we supplied 15 hampers, while the Caring & Sharing Exchange supplied over 19,000 individuals with food assistance at Christmas.

This has become a valuable team building experience and shows that the landscaping community is here to help. Our efforts provide hope, dignity, and support to those who are struggling.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the need for our support this year is greater than ever, and we need your help. We have started a fundraising campaign to supply as many Christmas food hampers as we possibly can.

You can donate in person at the chapter meeting with cash or non-perishable food items, or check out our gofundme page.

With your help, we can do our part in ensuring no one goes without food this Christmas.
