For 25 years Thunderbolt Contracting has been designing and installing beautiful, functional and memorable landscapes in Ottawa and surrounding areas. As proud members of Landscape Ontario (LO), the Commercial Landscape Association of Eastern Ontario (CLAEO) and the Ottawa Construction Association (OCA), we have the people, passion, experience and equipment to complete large complex landscape projects. Our in-house design team works closely with our project manager and installation crews to bring your vision to life. Landscape projects can be complex involving lots of moving parts. We coordinate closely with other reliable trades (pool, irrigation, fencing, electrical, etc.) to seamlessly pull all these elements together to create outdoor living spaces that last.

Garden description
Our garden, entitled Spring in the Upper Valley, reflects a contemporary approach to an Ottawa garden in the early spring. The strong, clean lines of the pathways and raised garden beds, themselves built of pavers and metalled containers, are balanced with the traditional elements of Canada in the spring – flowing water finally free of winter’s grip, the dappled foliage of newly-awakening trees and bursts of colour showing bravely against sunlit skies.
