Landscape Trades’ Source Book, the most comprehensive buyer’s guide to the horticultural industry got that much better with a recent inclusion of two new categories: garden giftware and snowplough equipment.

     Both categories were incorporated in response to an increasing number of requests by both distributors and manufacturers. “With the retail garden centre becoming more home-oriented overall, we thought that an expansion of the giftware category was most appropriate,” says Source Book editor Linda Erskine. “Garden Expo caters directly to the retail garden centre and features a lot of garden decorating accessories such as garden urns, planters and even picture frames.”

     A year-round guide, Landscape Trades’ Source Book, now in its tenth edition, is published each October, and features over 700 manufacturers, distributors and dealers of products for the horticulture trade — from nursery stock to hardcore equipment, and everything in between.

     Suppliers can list up to 10 free product listings in the Source Book, with additional listings charged $10 each. All participants are also included automatically on the online version, accessible at www.losourcebook.com.

     And, to gain even further exposure to the buyers of these products, companies are invited to include an additional advertisement in the keeper issue. “People looking in the Source Book are searching for specific products.
