New California publication on IPM

A new publication from the University of California’s Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources looks at IPM for the floriculture and nursery industries.

IPM for Floriculture and Nurseries, a 422-page, full-colour manual, helps the nursery professional to apply integrated pest management practices (IPM) to their flower and nursery crops. Along with the information, IPM for Floriculture and Nurseries includes illustrations, tables, a comprehensive index and over 300 photos. It also offers 117 pages of handy crop tables to provide a symptom-based guide for accurately diagnosing problems, as well as recommended controls for problems affecting 120 major flower and foliage species.

IPM for Floriculture and Nurseries, publication 3402, is available for $45 (U.S.). Tax and shipping and handling charges are extra. Quantity discounts are available. To order, call 1-800-994-8849 or log onto anrcatalog.ucdavis.edu.
