The National Symposium on Parks and Grounds program and registration form are now available online.
 
The Symposium on Parks and Grounds is a unique opportunity for elected officials, parks and grounds professionals and community volunteers to learn and share about current issues, trends and challenges in garden tourism, horticulture, gardening, environmental sustainability and other projects.

The presentations will cover the following subjects:
  • Mosaïcultures internationales®
  • The National Capital floral program
  • Canada 150 Tulip
  • The economic value of green spaces
  • Bees Matter initiatives
  • Urban Forestry
  • TransCanada Trail
With the following supporting technical visits:
  • Gardens of the National Capital: Rideau Canal, Commissioners Park, Rideau Hall
  • MosaïCanada 150 / Gatineau 2017
  • Landscape of Canada Gardens at the Canadian Museum of Nature
  • Ornamental Gardens at the Central Experimental Farm
The Symposium enables discussions and exchanges between participants during the presentations and the visits.
