Mid-Am attracts new participation
Forty-one new exhibitors will join returning exhibitors for their first time at the Mid-America Horticultural (Mid-Am) Trade Show, January 17 to 19, 2002.
Mid-Am president Bliss Nicholson of the Bruce Company of Wisconsin explained that these first-time exhibitors were advised of what space was available for 2002 and are confirmed to join the approximately 85 to 90 per cent of exhibitors who return year after year. “There is significant exhibitor loyalty associated with the Mid-Am Trade Show … making it a very desirable show in which to participate,” Nicholson says.
Taking over 170,000 sq. ft. at Chicago’s Navy Pier, and with a few months remaining until the show, the Mid-Am is well on its way to reaching a sold-out status. Last year, the Mid-Am hosted a record 600 exhibitors and 11,200 attendees.
Mid-Am attracts an array of buyers in the horticulture industry from the U.S., Canada and abroad, giving exhibitors the means to promote their products and services to retail managers, top-level landscape personnel and other horticultural industry executives.
