London Chapter - Volunteers Wanted!

If you are interested in volunteering, there are three-hour volunteer sessions where you will join a team to put furniture together in our furnished apartments, do light dusting or mopping, or unwrap and wipe down appliances.
- Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 1-4 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 6-9 p.m.
- Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 6-9 p.m.
Note: Please sign up for only one thee-hour session. You can sign up for family or staff as well. If you are unable to make it, please cancel your “ticket” so it can be made available for someone else. Children over 12 are welcome but must be supervised by an adult.
Please bring tools or cleaning supplies if you can; we will have some to lend, but not enough for all.
Tools include:
- Battery powered drill with extra battery
- Hex/Allen key set
- Screwdrivers with various heads
- Adjustable wrench
- Scissors / box cutter
- Work gloves
- Cleaning supplies include:
- Broom/dustpan
- Light mop/bucket
- Cleaning rags
- All purpose cleaner
- Gloves
Parking is available behind the Embassy Commons in the city-owned lot. This parking lot is monitored 24 hours a day, so we suggest you pay for parking to avoid getting a ticket. Some parking is also available on Dundas Street or other side streets.
