The John Deere Turf Care facility in Raleigh, NC can now advertise that it is certified after receiving its ISO 9000 certification this past December.

     After an 18-month qualifying process, the John Deere Turf Care facility received its ISO certification after one inspection that looked at standards that cover everything from paperwork and tracking systems to parts inventory and the assembly process.

     Officials at the John Deere Turf Care facility report they are preparing a project plan to upgrade the current certification to ISO 9000:2000.

     John Deere Turf Care has manufactured com­mercial mowing and golf and turf equipment since 1997, including golf course application mowers and compact utility tractor mower decks.
