Garden centre employee sues Monsanto

According to a report by the St. Louis Record, an employee of a garden centre is suing herbicide manufacturer Monsanto, alleging the company and “John Does” 1-50 “failed to ensure that Roundup will not cause harm to users.”

The plaintiff, Richard Miller, filed the lawsuit in Missouri alleging that while working at a garden centre he was exposed to Roundup, which contains the active ingredient glyphosate and a surfactant. The plaintiff developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The plaintiff claims the defendant knew full well the product was dangerous and failed to provide adequate warnings.
