Flowers Canada holds 36th convention
Issues affecting the floral industry will take centre stage at the Flowers Canada 36th Annual National Convention (Convention 2001), September 28 to 29.
Held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Mississauga, Convention 2001 will offer a selection of tours, seminars and business roundtables, including a special visit to the Ontario Flower Growers Co-op (the Clock), one of Canada’s three flower auction houses, a chance to “Shop Around the Clock” for new and interesting products with tours of local distributors and wholesalers and a Growers Research Seminar on the latest floriculture research.
The Flowers Canada Annual General Meeting and Annual People’s Choice Awards will also be held at Convention 2001, as well as a full-day “Industry Forum.” Introduced last year, this mediated, open discussion format proved to be a popular attraction.
Special rates have been arranged for acommodation, air travel and car rental. Contact Flowers Canada for more information at (905) 875-0707.
