CSA International opens European office

The reach of the CSA International (Canadian Standards Association) increased recently with the opening of a new European office.

The new office, scheduled to open April 1, will be located in the existing facilities of KEMA, CSA's strategic partner in Arnhern, the Netherlands, and will be used for certification and testing purposes.

Opened to service CSA's European customers, this new office will also give CSA's North American clients improved access to European markets through their CE marking attestation services, will allow CSA to issue certification marks for Europe, and will forge working relationships with Nemko Group of Norway and TUV Rheinland of Germany.

KEMA is an accredited certification and testing organization and quality management systems registrar. CSA International is an independent, not-for-profit organization and global leader in the field of standards development and the application of these standards through product certification, management systems registration and information products.

The Canadian Standards Association certification mark appears on over one billion products worldwide.
