The Board of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) recently announced that it will present James Brown of Brightwood Golf & Country Club in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with its prestigious Superintendent of the Year Award at the CGSA Conference and Trade Show, February 24 to 27 in Vancouver, B.C.

     Mr. Brown will receive second accolades at the Score Golf Awards banquet, scheduled for early May of 2001.

     This CGSA award is chosen each year from nominations received from regional organizations by a committee of four.
