Briggs & Stratton expands manufacturing facility

Briggs & Stratton announced it will be moving production of its commercial turf operations from its current facility in Munnsville, N.Y. to neighboring Sherrill, N.Y. in order to expand its current manufacturing capacity. The Munnsville, N.Y. facility currently manufactures zero-turn radius and commercial mowers under the Ferris and Snapper Pro brands, and homeowner zero-turn radius mowers under its Simplicity and Snapper brands. Briggs & Stratton expects some production to begin in spring 2018 and for the facility to be fully operational in the spring of 2019.
