Bailey Nurseries names new president

A fourth-generation Bailey family member recently stepped in to steer Bailey Nurseries’ future as the company’s president.

Terri McEnaney will take over the presidency from outgoing president Rod Bailey, who stepped down to dedicate more time to production and customer relations. This change is effective immediately and will not affect the management structure of the nursery, with Bailey maintaining his seat on the company’s board of directors, as well as his advisory role to its management team. Gordon Bailey, Jr. will remain as chairman.

McEnaney’s past positions with Bailey Nurseries include roles as Vice President of Administration and part of a five-person management team established in 1997 to oversee day-to-day operations. A graduate of St. Thomas University in Business Administration and Accounting, McEnaney worked in the finance department of 3M for eight years before returning to the nursery in 1990.
