Horticultural Technician Apprenticeship Program Increasing Participation Planning Meeting

Landscape Ontario's Apprenticeship Team, we would like to invite you to share your expertise with us at the Horticultural Technician Apprenticeship Program Increasing Engagement and Participation Planning Meeting facilitated by Tony DiGiovanni in Milton.

Purpose:

To identify the ways to maximize the gift of apprenticeship and increase the program engagement and participation of Landscape Ontario members.

With our current labour market, the growth of our horticulture & landscaping workforce will rely on our collective expertise and innovation. At Landscape Ontario, we believe the Horticultural Technician 441C Apprenticeship program is a gift to our industry that is under-utilized.

As an industry leader, we are seeking your experience to inform the future of this provincial skilled trades program.

The goals of our planning and strategy meeting are three-fold:
  1. Gain in-depth understanding of the gift of apprenticeship.
  2. Share your expertise and industry perspective about your workforce gaps.
  3. Together as an industry, collaborate and develop innovative strategies to engage our profession in participating in apprenticeship and taking our workforce to the next level.

When:

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., December 3, lunch included.

Where:

Landscape Ontario Head Office,
7856 Fifth Line South, Milton, ON, L9T 2X8
