Announcing the Ottawa Landscape Design Build Challenge
at GreenTrade Exp 2019!

The Ottawa Landscape Design Build Challenge is a project, created under
the lead of Lindsey Best, to give an opportunity to teams of college and
high school students enrolled in horticultural programs, to work together
with landscape professionals. This collaboration will result in a design of
an engaging outdoor learning environment, on high school grounds,
for all to enjoy.

How it works:  high school and Algonquin college horticultural program students
will work collaboratively in four groups to complete a design that will create an
outdoor learning environment.

Each design will be presented in front of a judging panel of industry
professionals,  at GreenTrade Expo on Wed., Feb.13th, 2019.

Judging and voting will take place at GTE, and attendees will have
the chance to vote on the winning design.  The announcement of
the chosen design will take place at the March 22 Ottawa chapter
meeting as part of Living Landscapes.

The design will be installed on the school grounds in the spring and
fall by Landscape Ontario members.
