A letter from Gerry Hutchinson

Dear Friends:

Since my accident on October 3, 1999, I have been in the Kamloops Hospital for two months, Langley Memorial Hospital for a month-and-a-half, and presently I'm in G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Hospital in Vancouver.

The two months that I spent in G.F. Strong have been filled with hard work, but it has been a rewarding experience. I am now walking with the aid of a walker and climbing stairs with some assistance. I am regaining my strength and stamina daily. I finally made it home on Sunday, March 12, 2000 for a day visit. What a wonderful place to be! I am expected to be at G.F. Strong for another five or six weeks, and then home continuing physiotherapy as an outpatient in our community. I am looking forward to getting back to work by early summer, where I will enjoy being in contact with my friends in the industry. It is also my goal to be back on the golf course by this fall.

Thanks for the beautiful flower arrangements, visits and cards of encouragement and support. I credit my quick recovery to the support from my strong family, dedicated staff, good friends and a loving God.

Cheers,
Gerry Hutchinson
