Dig safe, this month, and always April 1 marks the official start of Dig Safe Month. Organized by the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance (ORCGA), Dig Save Month events are designed to coincide with the unofficial start of spring digging season. They also serve as a reminder to both landscape pros and homeowners to call for locates prior to digging. Regardless of the time of year or location, remember to always dig safely. Recent changes to the Ontario One Call locate request system are also now in effect. Contractors are urged to begin using the web portal at on1call.com/webportal. |
