Rules and Regulations/Code of Conduct
for Students/Teachers/Instructors visiting Congress 2012
1. Entry to the trade show requires a name badge for students and their teachers/instructors, along with valid school-sanctioned ID.
2. Students must be pre-registered by a teacher/instructor of an industry-related educational institution. Trade show admission fees have been waived. Seminar/conference fees have been reduced for students enrolled in horticultural programs.
3. Students should remember that they are welcome guests at the show. Please remind the students that they should follow their school's dress code and code of conduct while at the show/conference. Please remind students that they should not block the aisles or loiter.
4. Students without a valid student ID, or behaving in a non-businesslike manner may be asked to leave the show floor and their teacher/instructor will be contacted to accompany the student.
5. Each school is responsible for creating an activity that will add to the educational value of the show for the students and keep them busy. For information on the various exhibitors and feature gardens, please refer to locongress.com.
6. No food or drink is allowed, except in designated areas – food and beverages are not allowed in the conference area at the front of the Congress Centre. The Toronto Congress Centre does not allow food from outside sources on its premises.
