It’s a Landscape Ontario Chapter Challenge
The goal is to increase membership as well as retain existing members.
Inspired by Dave Braun, President of Landscape Ontario
Let’s increase membership by 5% across the Province, and in return give back to your Chapter

Discuss ideas at board meetings
Encourage all members to promote membership
Distribute and display member decals
Distribute brochures/ display holders and posters to associate members
Assign board members to promote membership at summer events
Obtain non-member lists/contacts and promote
Ask for help from Milton staff
Retention drive
Assign board members to make phone calls in Sept when renewals are sent out
Promote new member night at meetings
Make personal visits if needed
Ask for help from Milton staff
Supplies for Chapter Meeting/Events (from head office)

Trade Show Info (Expo, Congress, Green Trade + Awards)
Brochures (Industry Events, Certification, Scholarship , Leave a Legacy, Membership, HR Toolkit)

- Time line: Mar. 1, 2014—Dec 31. 2014
- Each Chapter to increase their membership by 5% will be granted $500 to put towards their Chapter.
- The Chapter to increase and retain their membership by the highest percentage will be granted an additional $500, plus the bragging rights to own Grout the Garden Gnome's cousin for 1 year.
